In middle school, I about cried when I was told that “science club” was full, and I had to join “newspaper club” instead.
Ick.
I wanted to dissect a frog. Not report on what was for hot lunch that week.
But against my metaphorical kicking and screaming, I learned that I had a knack for writing. And I actually liked it.
I could make a career out of this…
So I moved to Los Angeles and graduated summa cum laude with a film degree. And in just under a decade, I crossed off the classic LA bucket list:
wrote a screenplay for a production company
produced viral content for influencers
saw a Kardashian in the wild
cried in hours-long traffic
Then a pandemic happened, and I moved to New York and crossed off a different bucket list:
creative directed at ad agencies
managed influencers
saw SJP in the wild
cried on the subway
When the pandemic ended, I moved out of the city and into a different life. But I won’t bore you with the details.
Currently, I reside among the Amish and help brands go viral on TikTok. But more interestingly, I write my own stuff now.
Books. Scripts. And the occasional website bio.
